The World Broomball Championships being held in Tomakomai late in 2014 will see minor changes to how ‘club’ teams will be included.Following a ratification by the IFBA Executive as of April 13th 2013, all teams not the immediate ‘National’ team of an IFBA member association will be required to submit to their respective National Associations any intention or plans to play at IFBA Worlds Championships and not to the Host committee or the IFBA. It will be the responsibility of the member association to collate and keep a record of all interested teams and to advise the IFBA of any and all ‘club’ teams that are entering into the event. The Member Associations will now make the decision on which ‘club’ team/s will be included in the event that are not representing their respective countries in the World Cup divisions. Divisions on offer at the IFBA World Cup in 2014 will be as in previous events but will be limited to a maximum of eight teams per division. For further information all communication should initially go to your member association who will then contact the Secretary General IFBA.
