With the introduction of the new official IFBA web site comes the opportunity to post much of the IFBA documentation up on line. The IFBA Executive are currently working through the new IFBA constitution which, due to significant legislative changes in Canada relating to Associations and Constitutions is taking up more time than originally planned. Other documentation we are currently working through include the updated IFBA Rule book as well as the host of support documents that are required under law that all Associations are required to have in place and maintain. An update will be posted once our members have been either advised of updates or have been part of the process in approving their acceptance.Note: It is still planned to make available printed copies of the IFBA Rule book at a cost to the individual. (details will be available once the process is in place)This will be supported by a web based version which will be posted on this site soon.Initially all documentation will be produced in the ‘official’ first language of the IFBA – English as minuted at the Governors meeting held in Ottawa at the 2012 IFBA World Championships. The IFBA Executive recognize and plan to look at translated versions in the future. Until the funding and resources are available to complete this it is recommended that documents as required are downloaded and locally translated by our member associations.
