September is almost done and teams have committed and registered. All we need now is for that first week of November to come around and the start of the 2016 IFBA World Broomball Championships.

Registered Teams

There are 48 teams registered for the tournament, hosted by Broomball Canada representative The Saskatchewan Broomball Association, made up of the following:

12 Men’s teams, 10 Women’s teams, 16 Mixed (co-ed) teams and 10 Masters teams.

Internationally our member associations have all sent teams so expect to see teams from Japan, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, USA and for the first time at a world event France.

All games under one roof

Regina is the city and has come on board to support this international event. Using the facilities of just one arena means that all games can be watched under one roof. With over 1000 athletes and support staff in town friends new and old will come together making this the broomball event of the year.
