Teams came from all IFBA member associations (now also formed into the collective EBA – European Broomball Association) as well as Austria and Germany along with international representation in the club division from the USA and Canada. There was even several Australians in attendance making it a true cosmopolitan event. The event was a show case of European broomball featuring the best teams in all divisions which was played in the best sporting tradition. The IFBA Board were represented by IFBA President Marc Desparois and General Secretary Alan Jabs who offered there warm congratulations to the host and all who attended for a well organised and run event. This showcase event opens the door to the possibility of a World Broomball Championships coming to Europe at some time in the future given it is nearly ten years since Innsbruck (2010)
